2014 Happenings

Lots going on in the wine country!

February 15 -16
Yakima Valley's Red Wine and Chocolate Weekend
For true romance in the wine country, treat your valentine to a hay wagon tasting tour. Your ride to selected wineries will include cozy blankets to snuggle under, chocolate treats and a sweetheart lunch. Reserve your spot early. Space is limited!!!!

April 18 -20
Rattlesnake Hills Pre-Spring Barrel Tasting
This is your chance to sample new Rattlesnake Hills’ wines straight from the barrel. At this Pre-Barrel Tasting weekend, crowds are smaller, allowing for a more intimate experience than the Spring Barrel Tasting the following weekend. There is no cost or ticket needed to attend this event; however some wineries do charge a tasting fee. It’s a great way to beat the crowds and enjoy new wines with a group of friends or family.

April 25 -27
Wine Yakima Valley's Spring Barrel Tasting
Sample new wines from the barrel and get a sneak preview of upcoming vintages from your favorite wineries. Winemakers and cellar staff will be on hand to share insights and answer questions about the winemaking process. Many of the participating wineries enhance the wine tasting experience by adding delicious cheeses, sauces, salsas, and even desserts to the mix along with special tasting offerings.

May 10
Canine and Wine Walk, starting right here at CWBBB
Join us for the 6th annual Canine and Wine Walk. Always a fun time for dogs and people; all funds go to Yakima Valley Pet Rescue. Bring your pooch and stroll through the vineyards to selected wineries for pooch-friendly tastings and treats. Starts at 11am at Cherry Wood BB&B.
