Ryan has been a wrangler here at Cherry Wood for the last two years. It’s been a great pleasure to watch him mature into a fine young man and a dedicated horseman.
Just 19 years old, he is living on his own, working his way through college, riding problem horses and working as a wrangler and dayrider.
He’s shown real promise helping us restore abandoned and neglected horses to health and usefulness here at Cherry Wood. We hope to nurture this talent and help him advance his horsemanship even further by giving him this opportunity to learn from one of the best.
Come have fun with us and help Ryan continue with his goal to help horses.
We’ll hit the trail around 11 am and take in as many wineries as we can. Potluck to follow at Cherry Wood. Bring a salad or desert; we’ll supply hot chili and cornbread.
Suggested minimum donation: $35 plus tasting fees
