Special Horsemanship Events
Patti's clinics were so well received last year she has agreed to return to Cherry Wood in 2009. Beginning in April and continuing through October, she'll offer monthly horsemanship clinics that gently encourage both horse and rider, helping them build a stronger bond each month.
In her calm and reassuring way, Patti is able to create a comfortable environment in which riders of all levels, from novice to lifelong equestrian, can increase their skills, overcome problems and enjoy their horses even more.
“Few things in life are as satisfying to the spirit as creating an atmosphere of goodwill and trust between yourself and your horse,” says Patti. “I've been very fortunate to have spent quite a bit of time over the last 30 years with some truly great horsemen and horsewomen, but it's the horse who has been my most steady and patient teacher. There's no end to what we can learn from them. The lessons they offer go beyond riding and right to the heart of what it means to be human.”
